Garmin has launched the Garmin Venu 2 Plus smartwatch in India today. The Venu 2 Plus is a premium smartwatch from Garmin that comes with a 1.3-inch display. The smartwatch has voice-calling support, hands-free voice assistance, and features such as a heart rate monitor, and 5ATM water resistance. The Venu 2 is reported to last for up to 9 days on a single charge.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus smartwatch boasts of a 1.3-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with a 43mm case with a stainless steel bezel along with a standard 20mm silicone strap. It also has a voice calling support. Additionally, the smartwatch also has a voice assistant feature that lets users respond to texts and ask questions. It supports Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri, and Samsung’s Bixby applications.

Furthermore, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus also has the Health Snapshot feature which enables the users to log a two-minute session to record key health stats. Users can also download the preset workouts from the Garmin Connect app, which offers customizable workouts by allowing them to choose from over 1,400 exercises. It also has preloaded 75 preset animated workouts for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT and Pilates. The smartwatch’s precise health and fitness solutions can also measure heart rate.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus also has automatic incident detection support and manually triggered assistance alerts, both of which can send a message with the user’s location to their emergency contacts. Garmin claims that the Venu 2 Plus offers up to 9 days battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 24 hours battery life in GPS mode. The device can supposedly last for up to 1 day in smartwatch mode with 10  minutes of charging.

As for pericing and availability, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus is priced at ₹46,990 in India. It comes in three colour options—Graphite Black, Cream Gold, and Powder Grey. The smartwatch will be available for purchase via e-commerce platform websites like Flipkart, Amazon, Tata Luxury, Tata CLiQ, synergizer.co.in and Croma offline stores from today.
