As for the key highlights, the handset comes with an AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, quad rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Micromax IN Note 2 arrives as a successor to the IN Note 1 model, which went official in India in November 2020. Comparatively, the smartphone offers a premium-looking design with iPhone 12-like flat sides, a new processor, an upgraded AMOLED panel, and faster charging capabilities. It will rival the Realme Narzo 30, Redmi Note 10S, Realme 8, and other budget-range smartphones.

The smartphone features a punch-hole design with a prominent bottom bezel, flat rails, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has a liquid cooling system for heat management.

Under the hood, the Micromax IN Note 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11 OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.

In terms of optics, the Micromax IN Note 2 is equipped with a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth lens. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP front-facing camera. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.

For pricing and availability, the Micromax IN Note 2 costs Rs. 13,490 for its solo 4GB/64GB model. The smartphone is offered in Brown and Black colors. However, the handset will be available for purchase at an introductory price of Rs. 12,490 (till stocks last) from January 30 onward via e-commerce platform Flipkart and Micromax's official website.
