Homegrown smartphone maker, Micromax has launched its new Note-series smartphone the IN Note 2 in India today. It carries a price-tag of Rs. 13,490 and will go on sale from January 30 with an introductory discount of Rs. 1,000. As for the key highlights, it comes with a quad rear cameras, an AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Micromax In Note 2 features a 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 11 OS out of the box and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Micromax In Note 2 on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; a 5-megapixel camera; a 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. The smartphone has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor.
Micromax In Note 2 is based on Android 11 OS and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 159.90 x 74.30 x 8.34mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 205.00 grams.
Connectivity options on the Micromax In Note 2 smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the handset include accelerometer and fingerprint sensor. The device was launched in Black and Brown colours.
