Micromax has launched the Micromax IN Note 2 smartphone in India. The newly launched handset arrives as a successor to the Micromax IN Note 1. As for the key highlights, the IN Note 2 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The device is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core chipset and features a quad-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, and packs a 5,000mAh battery.

The Micromax IN Note 2 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution. The display panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 550 nits brightness, and a pixel density of 466 PPI. The screen comes with a Corning Glass protection and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Helio G95 processor. The handset runs Android 11 OS out of the box. The device also has a fingerprint sensor, which is located on the right side. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax IN Note 2 boasts a quad-camera setup. The camera module includes a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 115° field of view, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. The smartphone flaunts a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. 

The Micromax IN Note ships with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage. The handset also has a microSD card support for further storage expansion beyond 64GB. In terms of connectivity, the device offers features such as dual-SIM support, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Dimensions-wise, the device measures 159.9 x 74.3 x 8.34mm and weighs 205 grams. 

The Micromax IN Note 2 comes in sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The device is priced at ₹13,490 in India. However, as part of an introductory offer, the handset will be available for purchase for ₹12,490. The device will be available in India starting from January 30 exclusively via e-commerce platform website Flipkart. The smartphone comes in two colour options—black and brown.
