OPPO had launched the OPPO Reno 6 and the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G smartphones in Indian market last week. Pre-orders for the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G started in India on July 14. And now, the handset is going on open sale in India for the first time. The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, a 64MP quad-camera setup, a 32MP front-facing camera, a 4,500mAh battery, and 65W fast charging.
The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone has the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, which is made using TSMC’s 6nm process. The processor features one 3GHz ARM Cortex-A78 CPU core, three 2.6GHz ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores, four 2GHz ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and the ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The handset is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader.
In term of optics, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G’s has a quad-camera setup at the rear. The rear-facing camera setup includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP monochrome camera. At the front, the smartphone has a 32MP selfie camera. The device has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the device runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.3 out of the box.
The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is powered by a 4500mAh battery and it supports 65W fast charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, Dual-4G VoLTE, 5G (SA/ NSA), dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11b/g/n/ax), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 156.8 × 72.1 × 7.59mm and weighs 182g.
As for the pricing and availability, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G price in India is ₹39,990. The smartphone comes in just one memory configuration: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It can be purchased in Aurora Glow and Stellar Black colours. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Croma, Flipkart, OPPO’s online store, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.
