The Realme GT 5G made its debut in China earlier this year. Since then, the smartphone has been limited to the Chinese market. Well, that changes today. The brand has launched the Realme GT 5G for the global markets today. For now, the handset will be available in the European markets. The Realme GT 5G is currently the flagship smartphone from the company.

The Realme GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch-sensing rate. You also get an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. As for storage, the handset can be had in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme GT 5G features three rear cameras: a 64MP primary unit, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfies are taken care of by a 16MP camera at the front. The rear camera can record 4K/60fps videos, whereas, the front camera can record full-HD videos at most. On the software side of things, you get the Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0. 

The Realme GT 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery and it can charge at a 65W speed. On the connectivity front, the smartphone features two SIM card slots with support for the 5G network, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, dual-band GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset is available in three colors: Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue, and Racing Yellow.

As for the pricing and availability, the Realme GT 5G is available in two variants. One has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and it is priced at €449 (Rs 39,706). The other packs 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and it costs €559 (approximately Rs 49,425). The smartphone will be available in Thailand, Poland, Spain, and Russia starting 21st June, with more countries to follow in the future.
