Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Nubia is gearing up to soon launch its latest flagship handset, called the RedMagic 7, in China. Now, a recent post on the company's Weibo handle has revealed the handset will arrive with an in-house-built independent gaming processor alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The addition of this gaming-centric chip will deliver a seamless gaming experience with enhanced sound, vibration, and better tactile feedback.
The Nubia RedMagic 7 will be offered by the company as a flagship smartphone focused on gaming. The handset is reported to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 64MP primary camera, and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 135W fast-charging support. The device is expected to carry a premium price-tag of around Rs. 50,000.
The Nubia RedMagic 7 may bear a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) OLED display, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a high touch sampling rate. The smartphone is rumored to feature a punch-hole design with rounded corners, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The rear will be fitted with a triple camera module.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia RedMagic 7 is said to flaunt a triple rear camera module, comprising a 64MP main camera and two other sensors equipped with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the handset may sport a 16MP front-facing snapper. The smartphone pack a 4,500mAh battery with 135W fast-charging support.
Under the hood, the Nubia RedMagic 7 shall draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the front software, it should boot Android 12 with the latest RedMagic UI skin baked on top. For connectivity, the smartphone should support 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The official pricing and availability details of the Nubia RedMagic 7 will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. However, based on the leaked specifications and features, the handset may start at around Rs. 50,000. It is likely to be available in Black, Blue, Green, and Red colors.
