South Korean tech giant, Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy A23 5G smartphone in India. Now, in a fresh leak, CollegeDunia—in collaboration with OnLeaks—has revealed the key specifications and design of the handset along with a probable launch date of March 31. As for the highlights, the handset is said to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, a 6.55-inch display, and a quad rear camera unit.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will be offered as a mid-range device by the company. It will succeed the current A22 5G model. It is said to be a feature-loaded handset, offering a great value for money proposition to buyers looking for smartphones in this segment. Also, it will be pitted against other mid-tier devices from rival brands like OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G may bear a 6.55-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The handset is speculated to feature a waterdrop notch design with rounded corners, slim bezels with a noticeable chin, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. The rear panel will be fitted with a quad camera unit.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it may boot Android 11 with Samsung's in-house One UI skin baked on top. For connectivity, the handset should offer support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Type-C port.
