Nubia Z40 Pro smartphone was launched in China as the successor to Nubia Z30 Pro that was launched last year. As for the key highlights, the handset runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It is the first smartphone to sport the Sony IMX 787 sensor, and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
The Nubia Z40 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. At the heart, the handset runs Android 12 operating system.
The Nubia Z40 Pro on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera; a 50-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor. The smartphone powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. On the front software, the Nubia Z40 Pro runs MyOS is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 161.90 x 72.90 x 8.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 199.00 grams. The device was launched in Silver and Black colours.
Connectivity options on the Nubia Z40 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
