OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is set to debut on February 17 as the successor to company's OnePlus Nord CE 5G that was launched last year 2021. The handset will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC under the hood, as recently confirmed by OnePlus. Ahead of the launch of the handset, a tipster has leaked India price of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. It is tipped to launch in two colours, in line with previous leaks of the smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G comes with a 6.40-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 11 OS and is powered by a 4500mAh battery. The device supports Super VOOC fast charging.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

On the software front, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G runs OxygenOS 11 is based on Android 11 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1024GB) with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 160.60 x 73.20 x 7.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 173.00 grams. 

Connectivity options on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G include Bluetooth v5.20, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Bahama Blue and Grey Mirror colours.
