Xiaomi-owned brand, Redmi has officially unveiled the Redmi 10 (2022) model. The Chinese tech company has not yet announced the prices and availability details of the smartphone but the full specifications have been revealed. As for the key highlights, the handset flaunts a quad rear camera unit, a MediaTek Helio G88 chip, a 90Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Redmi 10 (2022) arrives as a successor to the Redmi 10 that was launched in August last year 2021. Both the smartphones share similar specifications and offer good value for money in the budget segment. While the new model's pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed, we expect it to arrive in India later this year 2022.

The Redmi 10 (2022) comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone features a punch-hole design with rounded corners, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. At the back, it flaunts a quad camera setup.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10 (2022) draws power from a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11 OS out of the box with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. For connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a Type-C port.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi 10 (2022) sports a quad rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth lens. At the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

The official pricing and availability details of the Redmi 10 (2022) are yet to be announced by the Chinese tech company. However, it is expected to cost under Rs. 15,000 in India. The color options available on the smartphone are Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue.
