Xiaomi's recently-launched Redmi Note 11S alongside the Redmi Note 11 in the India on February 9. While the Redmi Note 11 went on sale on February 11, the Redmi Note 11S goes on sale from today, almost two weeks after its launch. As for the key highlights, the Redmi Note 11S features an AMOLED display, high screen refresh rate, quad cameras, and a big battery, among others.
The Redmi Note 11S sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 409ppi pixel density. The display supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut and can reach peak brightness levels of 1000nits. The display gets Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor built on the 12nm fabrication process.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 11S comes with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The ancillary cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfie and video calls, the handset comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front software, the smartphone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
For RAM and storage, the Redmi Note 11S is equipped with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes with up to 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone scores big on entertainment, as it gets a stereo speaker setup and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Z-axis linear vibration motor promises enhanced feedback during calls and gaming. Other noteworthy features include 4G, dedicated microSD card slot, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
For official pricing and availability, the Redmi Note 11S went on sale today as promised. It is available in a sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant on Amazon for ₹17,500. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants are priced at ₹16,500 and ₹18,500 respectively, and are available on Mi.com. The smartphone comes in Horizon Blue, Space Black, and Polar White colour options.
