Chinese tech company, HONOR is gearing up to introduce two new MagicBook series laptops, called the X 14 and X 15, in India. The duo first made its debut in China back in 2021. A launch page featuring the laptops has already appeared on the Amazon India platform. Although the brand is yet to announce the exact date of their debut, we can expect them to arrive soon.
Nearly a year after its debut, HONOR is set to launch its MagicBook X series in India. The MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 are the first Ultrabooks in the series with an aluminium body. With their compact design, TUV Rheinland-certified display, and long-lasting battery with 65W fast-charging support, the duo is expected to make their mark in India's budget-friendly laptop segment.
The The HONOR MagicBook X 14 and X 15 pack a 14.0-inch and 15.6-inch IPS display, respectively, with a Full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and TUV Rheinland's Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications. They feature a sleek aluminium metal body, a conventional rectangular screen, slim bezels, and a fingerprint reader-integrated power button.
The I/O ports on MagicBook X 14 and X 15 include a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For wireless connectivity, they offer support for Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. The laptops come with a pop-up web camera and a fan and heat pipe for improved heat dissipation.
Under the hood, the Magic Book X 14 and X 15 are powered by a 10th-generation i3/i5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. At the heart, they run on Windows 10 Home and pack a 56Wh and 42Wh battery, respectively, with 65W fast-charging.
The official pricing and availability details of the MagicBook X 14 and X 15 in India will be announced at the time of their launch. For reference, in China, they start at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 39,500) and CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 40,500), respectively. They are offered in Space Gray and Mystic Silver color options.
