Realme has launched a new C-series device—called the Realme C31 in the Indian market—following its global debut earlier this month in Indonesia. It carries a price tag of Rs. 8,999  and will be available for purchase starting April 6, 12pm onwards via Flipkart. The entry-level smartphone from Realme offers a large display and a triple-rear camera setup. Under the hood, it packs a Unisoc processor and a 5,000mAh battery unit . 

The Realme C31 bears a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ display and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel features a waterdrop notch up top. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 85%. The handset sports an octa-core UniSoC T612 processor that comes with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. The UniSoC T612 is built on a 12nm fabrication process and brings with it up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM along with up to 64GB UFS2.2 onboard storage.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme C31 packs a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash inside a rectangular camera module. The smartphone offers a 13MP primary shooter with an F2.2 aperture, a macro lens, and a B&W sensor. It offers a 5MP shooter for video calls and selfies. On the front software, It boots Android 11 OS out of the box based Realme UI R Edition.

The Realme C31 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit. It supports 10W charging over a Type-C charging port. For security, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that is embedded into the power button. It also has a dedicated micro-SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of dimensions, It weighs 197grams and measures 164.7 × 76.1 × 8.4mm. 

For official pricing and availability, the Realme C31 comes in two memory-storage configurations—Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB/32GB configuration and Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB/64GB model. The smartphone comes in Light Silver and Dark Green colour options. It will be available for purchase starting April 6, 12pm onwards via e-commerce platform website Flipkart and Realme's e-store.
