Samsung Galaxy A73 5G was announced in India as the upper mid-range 5G smartphone from the South Korean tech company. Although, the handset was revealed a few days back along with Galaxy A33 5G, and Galaxy A53. As for the key highlights, the device comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s 700 series chipset, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G bears a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a Snapdragon 778G octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 642L GPU. It is coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 1TB. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization with f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel portrait lens. The smartphone sports a 32-megapixel selfie sensor under the punch-hole at the top center. 

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 25W fast charging. Sensors onboard, the phone sports an Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes a 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C port.

For official pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G comes in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB is priced at Rs. 41,999 and 8GB + 256GB is priced at Rs. 44,999. The South Korean tech company offered the phone in three color options namely Awesome Gray, Awesome Mint, and Awesome White. The handset is available for pre-order now and will go for sale starting from April 8 in India.
