ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is reportedly in talks to star in a drama adaptation of Webtoon, according to a Soompi report. On August 16, TV Daily reported that Cha Eun Woo will be playing the male lead of the webtoon-based drama “ A Good Day to be a Dog ” (working title).
In response to the report, a source from Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio stated that it had not decided anything. “A Good Day to be a Dog is one of the projects he is currently reviewing, and nothing has been decided yet,” the agency said.
“A Good Day to be a Dog” is a romance drama based on the webtoon of the same name. This drama tells the story of a woman who wants to undo her curse to turn into a dog every day at dawn and a man who is afraid of dogs. Cha Eun Woo himself was offered to be the main character named Jin Seo Won.
In the webtoon, Han Hae Na's curse, which has been passed down from generation to generation, turns her into a dog every time she kisses a man. Jin Seo Won is afraid of dogs because of an incident in the past that even he himself can't remember.
Cha Eun Woo previously starred in many hit projects including “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,” “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” and “True Beauty.” Recently, Cha Eun Woo wrapped up filming for his new drama “Island.” He is also in talks for dramas “This Relationship Is Uncontrollable” (literal title) and “Dak Gang Jeong” (romantic title).
