BTS's V became the first member to release a vlog after BTS went on hiatus. On Saturday July 9, 2022, the BANGTANTV YouTube channel uploaded the 'Drive Vlog' video which follows V BTS traveling and driving. The 52-minute video shows V BTS who looks charming wearing a soft pink loose shirt. Fans seemed to be invited on a date with him.

In addition to taking fans on a trip, V BTS also shows his daily life. In his hiatus, he goes to the dentist, goes to restaurants, plays indoor golf, and visits some outdoor places to enjoy nature and relax. The owner of the real name Kim Taehyung is now setting the latest record with his vlog. 'Drive vlog' became the most watched vlog with the most likes within 24 hours.

During that time, BTS' V videos were watched by more than 8.1 million viewers and received 1.5 million likes. While driving V BTS played about 30 songs that showed their diverse musical tastes. He listens to genres of bossa nova, jazz, pop, R&B, to orchestra. Chris James, Lizzo, Elley Duhe, Cautious Clay, Paolo Sandejas and representatives Bing Crosby noticed the songs were playing through fan-shared footage.

Lizzo became a successful ARMY (as BTS fans are called). Despite being good friends with BTS's V, Lizzo was surprised to see V mimicking his lipsync style to the song 'About Damn Time'. He shared a video of V BTS dancing to the song 'About Damn Time' on TikTok and Instagram. V BTS also reposted his upload on Instagram Stories. Fans were moved when they found out that V BTS edited his own vlog.

After combining videos and adding subtitles, V BTS admitted to being worried because the video duration was quite long and almost an hour. He discussed it with the director of the reality show 'Run BTS!' and 'Bangtan Bomb' who accompanied him. The BTS group visual also wrote several relatable captions in silent scenes and made fans laugh out loud.

"I just watched (the video) now because writing captions is getting harder," "Writing captions is difficult," wrote V BTS. Fans initially thought the caption was written by the HYBE agency crew and called it unprofessional. After knowing that V BTS added a caption, fans understood that and laughed.
