The Chinese drama 'Being A Hero' starring Wang Yibo and Chen Xiao premiered on August 11, 2022 on Youku. In this drama Wang Yibo competes acting with Chen Xiao and Zhao Zhao Yi. Synopsis of Chinese Drama 'Being A Hero' The story begins several years earlier, when Wu Zhen Feng (Chen Xiao) and his best friend Chen Yu (Wang Yibo) were cadets. Once a disaster hit Zhen Feng. A drug trafficking organization known under the pseudonym 'K' killed Zhen Feng's father.
The incident triggered several mysterious events, until finally Wu Zhen Feng was forced to leave the police force to investigate the truth of the dangerous case. Wu Zhen Feng decided to go overseas, but Chen Yu instead followed him for fear of Zhen Feng doing things rashly and putting himself in danger.
However, both of them are kidnapped by a drug gang. But Zhen Feng kept his best friend safe, while he was taken away by a drug gang. Since then the news is no longer heard. Many years have passed, now Chen Yu has completed his training and has become a shining star in the Police Narcotics Team.
Compared to his best friend, Wu Zheng Weng actually became an important figure in an illegal gang that earned the nickname 'Addict Lord', he even became a murder suspect.
