The King's Avatar is a drama from China that tells the story of Ye Xiu, a Top Player of the Game named Glory. He is the leader of the E-Sport group called Excellent Era. Every time he competes with his professional team, he disguises his name as Ye Qiu and wears a black mask so as not to be recognized by others outside the match.

From this game of Glory , Ye Qiu's avatar was named One Autumn Leaf. At one time, he was forced to step down from his position as team leader of Excellent Era, and handed over his proud One Autumn Leaf avatar to a Rising Star named Sun Xiang. However, in the end he chose to retire and leave Excellent Era by leaving  One Autumn Leaf, as well as his best friend, Su Mucheng.

Until when he lost his way, he met an internet cafe named Happy. When Game Glory opened the tenth server, he activated another avatar and took a new path as an avatar user named Lord Grim . At that internet cafe, he applied for a job as a Network Manager. No one knew that Ye Xiu was Ye Qiu, not even his own superior.

The King's Avatar live action version itself is an adaptation of the novel written by Butterfly Blue of the same name. The series is played by Yang Yang , Jiang Shu Ying, Lai Yu Meng and several other actors. At first I thought this drama would be more or less the same as other E-Sport themed Chinese dramas , which focus more on romance. But, I was wrong. This one drama really focuses on the theme of E-Sport.

Until from this series, I really got a better picture of the world of E-Sport. There is indeed a relationship between Ye Xiu's character and Su Mucheng, my expectations were directed towards them. It turned out to be more focused on the relationship between Ye Xiu and his boss, Chen Guo, who turned out to be a fan of One Autumn Leaf .

This drama is also given a visualization for Game Glory itself. From the animation it looks like the users are really in the game. The graphics of the animation itself are interesting, especially during the action scenes, thus providing its own plus for this series. It seems that the animation part of this drama uses quite a large amount of funds. Because I feel that the animation part is really cool!

Indeed, for this drama there are 40 episodes so that it makes the audience vulnerable to boredom. However, I think this story is quite understandable because it tells in detail, so that there are not too many questions that arise from me while watching it. One of my favorite Chinese dramas can be watched on WeTV as well as Netflix.
