Two ATEEZ members , Hongjoong and Yunho , were announced to be the new DJs to host the Idol Radio show which has now entered its third season . Today, Thursday September 8, 2022, Idol Radio officially announced that the two ATEEZ members will take over the role of radio DJs through their official social media accounts.
Idol Radio is a radio show from South Korea created by MBC Radio specifically for idols. This radio broadcast can be listened to through MBC Radio and MBC FM4U. In addition, the broadcast can also be watched through the Universe application and is also available on the radio show's YouTube channel. Reporting from Allkpop, Hongjoong and Yunho are known to be starting their first broadcast as DJ Idol Radio for the new season on September 12.
The broadcast will go live exclusively on the Universe app on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. KST. The program is also available through MBC Radio and MBC FM4U on Saturdays and Sundays. Previously, the second season of this radio show was hosted by MONSTA X's Hyungwon and Joohoney.
Both of them started broadcasting since August 2021. After a year had passed, they then decided to withdraw after their last broadcast in early August 2022. Meanwhile, fans seemed so excited after hearing this announcement. Many of them said they couldn't wait to see Hongjoong and Yunho's appearance as the new DJs of Idol Radio Season 3.
