He once again watched his father being humiliated by the landlord but didn't step up to do anything and just sighed that he made the right choice to change parents. The next day Seung-cheon's father, Lee Chul, gets a job at one of the demolition sites where the protests took place.

Finally able to get something, she brought home a cake for her son's birthday. The next day, Tae-yong is greeted by the sight of the seaweed soup his mother made and shows his gratitude for being with him. On the other hand, Seung-cheon is ready for his birthday party and will impress Hyun-do by giving him a surprise to show off his skills. Elsewhere, Ju-hee wonders how to get to Seung-cheon's house when she runs into a mysterious grandmother who knows about Seung-cheon and Tae-yong. He then gives Ju-hee a letter for “Tae-yong” that needs to be given to him as soon as possible.

Ju-hee picks it up and first goes to meet “Seung-cheon” at his house where he is attracted by his rundown living quarters. However, he soon receives a call from his father urging him to hurry to the party, leaving him with no choice. Back at the party, Seun-cheon manages to impress Hyun-do in front of everyone and puts on his best behavior all day. Meanwhile, Ju-hee has made it to the party with Tae-yong. Just then Seo Young-shin (Tae-yong's stepmother) calls Seung-cheon to play the piano, but before he can get there, Tae-yong plays the piano for everyone.

He then leaves from there while Ju-hee comes to deliver the letter to Seung-cheon. The letter is a warning to Seung-cheon informing him that if one of the two boys meets their birth parents on their birthday then the spell will be undone and they will return to their original lives. This frightens him as he frantically starts looking for Tae-yong. He soon finds her but barely avoids Tae-yong and Hyun-do from running into each other. Later that night, Hyun-do shows his approval of "Tae-yong's" behavior and attempts to impress him.

He tells Young-shin that his wish isn't that hard to change which frightens him when he then calls someone. The next day, he runs into Ju-hee and learns that she had visited his real home which embarrassed him when he started badmouthing "Seung-cheon". This then leads Ju-hee to confess that she has feelings for Seung-cheon which leaves her speechless. On the other hand, Jang Moon-ki (Tae-yong's bodyguard) watched Lee Seung-a fight with the landlord who tried to peek at her in the restroom. He starts beating them which makes him rush to stop him, only to be beaten himself.

The group then goes to the police station and Monn-ki helps Seung-a out of trouble. Later, he discusses this with Seung-cheon and during their conversation, an incident from five years ago that traumatized Tae-yong comes up. However, not much is said about this which makes Seung-cheon wonder what had happened. Seung-cheon then starts thinking about the landlord and decides to teach him a lesson the next day. With Moon-ki by his side, he succeeds in his mission and ends up helping his family get rid of this problem.

While on his way home, a strange woman passes in front of his car and goes to the bus stop where he meets the mysterious grandmother. The next day, Seung-cheon gets frustrated when he sees Tae-yong and Ju-hee playing together. Later that night, he goes to see Ju-hee at the convenience store and sees a strange man staring at her. He's unsure of the situation and then tries to call Ju-hee after her shift. But soon she saw her being pushed against the wall while the man was strangling her neck. He rushes to save her and succeeds in this.

Ju-hee then explains to him that the man is her friend's father who died while in high school. She tells him that her friend was made to leave school after she was caught stealing her watch, but a few months later she passed away due to acute leukemia. However, her friend's father has been blaming Ju-hee since then. Seung-cheon asks her if this is the reason why she is so nice to “Seung-cheon” but she tells her that these two people are not related and that her feelings for Seung-cheon are real.

Later, Seung-cheon enters Hyun-do's study and tries to find something to help him make a good impression on the latter but is caught by Hyun-do. He then confronts Seung-cheon by asking if he has seen the will. Seung-cheon tells the truth and asks for the chance to prove himself that was given to him by Hyun-do. The next day, Seung-cheon happily goes to class but sees a strange message on his phone. He chooses to ignore it until he sees a forgotten letter sent by grandma on his phone and another message asking if he isn't Tae-yong.
