The first position was occupied by BTS and then followed by Taylor Swift, Drake, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj.
The following is a complete list of the artists with the most number of times reaching 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart: The first BTS song to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart was "Dynamite" in 2020, followed by "Savage Love" and "Life Goes On." In 2021, their three songs "Butter," "Permission To Dance" and "My Universe" again topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
"Dynamite" was released on August 21, 2020 and immediately debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making BTS the first South Korean artist to top the chart for three consecutive weeks. The song "Savage Love" (Laxed – Siren Beat)" was released on October 2, 2020 and successfully debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
