Talented actress Kim Tae Ri is reported to have received an offer to star in a new Korean drama adapted from a webtoon. Quoting from Soompi on Thursday November 17, 2022, the agency that houses Kim Tae Ri, Management mmm shared their official statement. They confirmed that the actress had received an offer from the producers of drama ' Jung Nyeon ', and was currently considering the offer. 

"It's true that Kim Tae Ri has received an offer from the producer of the drama 'Jung Nyeon'. The drama is one of the drama projects he is currently considering," said Management. Meanwhile the Korean drama 'Jung Nyeon' is a drama adapted from a webtoon with the same title. Set in the 1950s, the drama tells the story of Yoon Jung Nyeon, a young girl from Mokpo. 

She was penniless and uneducated, but had a talent for singing. The historic drama tells the life of Yoon Jung Nyeon who then joins a theater troupe of young women to achieve her dream of becoming rich. Kim Tae Ri has received an offer for the role of Yoon Jung Nyeon. 

Of course, this offer made fans of the original webtoon and Korean drama lovers impatient to witness Kim Tae Ri's acting skills in playing the character Yoon Jung Nyeon. Previously, Jung Nyeon's webtoon writer Namon also admitted that he had Kim Tae Ri's character in 'The Handmaiden' in mind when he created the character Yoon Jung Nyeon.  

Kim Tae Ri himself will return to appear on the small screen through the latest thriller mystery drama titled 'Demon' which will air on SBS TV station next year. 'Demon' is a mystery thriller drama with an occult theme, in which a woman who is possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see the evil spirit inside the human body dig up the mysterious death that surrounds five sacred objects. 

Besides Kim Tae Ri, the South Korean drama will also star actors Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung. The Korean drama 'Demon' is the work of the famous writer Kim Eun Hee who is also the playwright of several popular Korean drama titles such as 'Sign,' 'Ghost,' 'Signal,' and 'Kingdom.'
