South Korean Girl Group, BLACKPINK is currently busy with a world tour. However, they also made time during their busy schedules to perform at the 2023 Coachella music festival. Coachella is one of the largest music festivals in the United States.
BLACKPINK also succeeded in becoming the first K-Pop to be trusted as a headliner, or top performer, at the music festival. BLACKPINK showed a different charisma than they usually show at tour concerts. From clothing to songs with rearranged arrangements, BLACKPINK's appearance provides a different excitement.
BLACKPINK opened the performance by performing Pink Venom, followed by Kill This Love, to How You Like That. They also performed songs from old albums such as Kick It, Lovesick Girls to Pretty Savage. In addition, each BLACKPINK member also shows individual charm on stage.
They performed individual solo songs and gave off different charms on stage. This is not the first time BLACKPINK has performed at Coachella. Previously, they performed on the Sahara stage, as part of 88rising. Of course, this made BLACKPINK's passion even hotter on stage.
They also admitted that they were very happy that their dream of becoming headliners at Coachella could come true. "It's a dream come true for us to be the headliner at one of the most loved music festivals in the world," said Rose. "The reason we are on stage is because of you all!" she concluded.
