The annual Coachella music festival, which is held at the Empire Polo Club, Indio, California, is an event featuring musicians who want to perform or just want to watch musical performances from various world musicians. The event which started on April 14th is still going on today April 16, 2023 and will continue from April 21 to 23. Lots of musicians were seen at the music festival.
One that stole the attention was the presence of Shawn Mendes and his ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello in the midst of this big music event. A video shared by the Twitter account @ PopBase today April 16, 2023 even captures the intimate scene of the former couple kissing. The 9-second video shows Shawn Mendes and Camila embracing each other and ends with an intimate kiss between the two.
According to Insider, Shawn Mendes and Camila first met in 2014 when they were both opening musicians for the Austin Mahone concert, at that time Camila was still part of the Fifth Harmony group. In 2015 the two singers had a joint project in song, " I Know What You Did Last Summer." After that, the two were reportedly getting closer and only decided to date in 2019.
In 2020 Shawn even wrote the lyrics to a song inspired by his girlfriend entitled " Wonder ". But unfortunately in 2021 to be precise on November 15th both of them ended their relationship, but both of them decided to remain friends and support each other. After breaking up with Shawn Mendes, Camila had been dating for 8 months with a man named Austin Kevitch.
Shawn was also reportedly close to Sabrina Carpenter when the two of them were seen walking together in Los Angeles, but a few months later Shawn denied reports that the two of them were dating. Even so, after breaking up the relationship between Shawn and Camila, they are still good and are still friends with each other, they even keep photos of them together on their respective Instagram.
While at Coachella, it was seen that Shawn and Camilla were still very close to each other, they were even seen chatting and toasting in the music festival's bar area with their other friends, as quoted by E!
