Another K-Pop group that couldn't last a long career in the music industry. SNUPER announced their disbandment after 7 years of career. This news was delivered directly by WIDMAY Entertainment as management. The six SNUPER members left management after their exclusive contracts ended.
"From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank the SNUPER members who have been with us for a long time, and also to the fans who have given SNUPER love," said WIDMAY Entertainment. "We will sincerely provide support for the future of the members. We also ask fans to give a lot of support to SNUPER who will start anew," he concluded.
Shortly after it was officially announced by management, Taewoong, as the leader of SNUPER, wrote letters to fans which were uploaded via his Instagram account. He admitted that he had agreed with the management and also the other five members to separate and go their separate ways.
"After many discussions with the management and the members, we agreed to provide mutual support between the members and also the management in different locations," said Taewoong. "I became who I am now because I met SWING (SNUPER fans) as a member of SNUPER and received love as well, as well as the influence we have on each other.
I think the memories I made while a member of SNUPER will be a great strength that will help me live my life in the future," he continued. At the end of the statement, Taewoong also asked fans to continue to provide support for Hyunggeun, Sangil, Sunghyuk, Sangho, Sebin, and himself in the future.
