The celebrities who attended the Cannes Film Festival chose the best clothes to look good when posing on the red carpet in front of photographers. Taking advantage of this opportunity, a model from Ukraine uses extreme clothing to promote her campaign. But because of that, he was even kicked out by security.
Model Alina Baikova attended the premiere of the film 'Old Oak' at the Cannes Festival some time ago. Unlike most women who wear extravagant dresses, at first she was only seen wearing a cream-colored trench coat. But after arriving in the middle of the red carpet, the 34-year-old woman opened it and showed the vulgar shirt she was wearing.
Alina was seen wearing an oversized t-shirt with the words 'F**k You Putin' on it. He also deliberately chose a combination of yellow and blue to represent the Ukrainian flag which was being invaded by Russia. The model who often works for big brands, including Calvin Klein, is known for campaigning for war in his country and often wearing clothes with similar inscriptions.
Shortly after showing off her clothes and protest, Alina was immediately surrounded by security. He was then asked to leave the premises. Photos and videos of him being kicked out on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival went viral and became a conversation on social media.
"This is a real show of support for Ukraine. I was arrested and asked to leave the carpet because the festival does not want politics (they will allow me to continue (walking on) the carpet without removing my jacket)," he wrote on Instagram.
"Our president asked to make it in the news every day so people don't forget that it is still happening and it must end. And Russia must get off our land and leave us in peace. Accept the fact that we are an independent and democratic nation that does not want to be under your control. " explained Alina.
While calling for her protest, Alina still appears glamorous and charming. She wore a $770 trench coat from Rp. 11 million from Ukrainian brand RDNT with a sparkly Chopard necklace and earrings. Meanwhile, the shirt is the result of a collaboration with the Room brand.
