ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo has been chosen to represent Subway, the American sandwich chain, in South Korea. On June 30, 2023, the brand revealed its new campaign with the slogan “Eat fresh, feel good ”. Likewise, along with his new promotional phrase, Subway revealed Cha Eun Woo as the face of the new model who will star in this campaign.
The CEO of Subway Korea revealed that they chose the ASTRO member as the face of the company. “Cha Eun Woo's natural charm along with her attractive looks, refreshing energy, and honest image are exactly what we at Subway want to convey.
We want the good values of this young artist to be associated with our product”, he affirmed. Previously, Subway Korea's social media had shown a teaser for the campaign where the model was seen covering her face with a sandwich. However, the artist's characteristic smile made many fans quickly guess who it was.
The North American sandwich chain Subway came to South Korea in 2007. This ad campaign adds to the many other ads starring Cha Eun Woo. Other international brands like Dunkin Donuts, Skechers, Dior, Giordano have also chosen Cha Eun Woo as their official face proving the great influence and popularity of the artist.
