BTS' Jungkook made his solo debut in the United States. The BTS member will perform SEVEN's song for the first time at the 2023 Summer Concert Series. As is known, BTS' Jungkook is the sixth BTS member to debut solo after J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Jin and Suga. On the upcoming Friday July 14, 2023, BTS' Jungkook will release his first album titled SEVEN.
Sports Chosun reports the album will include a number of songs in English. Ahead of his solo debut, BTS' Jungkook was announced as one of the performers for the 2023 Summer Concert Series in New York. The Summer Concert Series is an annual music concert held every summer by the television program Good Morning America.
The first series was held in Central Park, New York to coincide with the release date of BTS' Jungkook album. JULY 14th: Get ready, #BTSARMY! That way BTS' Jungkook will become the first K-pop soloist to appear at the 2023 Summer Concert Series. Previously, Jungkook had performed with his fellow personnel there in 2019 and 2021. BTS is the first KPop group to fill the Summer Concert Series.
Then followed by the SM Entertainment girl group, aespa, who will appear in 2022. BTS' Jungkook joins a row of K-pop groups that will comeback this July including EXO (July 10), NCT Dream (July 17), NewJeans (July 21), Oh My Girl (July 24), and their debut ZEROBASEONE (July 10).
BTS' Jungkook solo debut is increasingly anticipated because it is rumored to feature Han So Hee as a model for the video clip for his song, SEVEN. On Monday July 3, 2023, BTS' Jungkook first released his songs Still With You and My You on all music platforms.
