Ahead of the scheduled release of Treasure's 2nd full album 'Reboot' on July 28, 2023, we would like to inform you that our member Haruto was unable to participate in the 'Reboot' activities due to his grandfather's illness," YG Entertainment wrote. "We apologize for causing concern with this sudden news.
We ask for your understanding, and he plans to return as soon as possible to meet with the fans. We ask for your continued interest and support for the activities of Treasure' Reboot's 2nd full album which will be released tomorrow." It is known that Treasure will be making a comeback with the release of their second full album.
Treasure has also uploaded video footage on its social media pages showing the 10 members wearing black suits and staring at the camera against a backdrop of bright LED screens. Not much has been revealed about Treasure's new album, but YG Entertainment says it will feature something new to match the album's title "Reboot."
The new album will mark the comeback of a full-fledged 10-member group in nearly 10 months since they released their second mini album "The Second Chapter: Chapter Two" in October 2022. On Monday July 3, 2023, YG Entertainment announced the group had signed a partnership with Columbia Records for the release of their album in the United States.
Last month, Treasure launched Treasure's first sub-unit, T5, which debuted through the digital single "Move". T5 consists of Yoon Jae-hyuk, Junkyu, Jihoon, Doyoung and So Jung-hwan. There were a lot of netizens who gave mixed responses in the comment section of the upload.
