EXO's Chen will hold a wedding after three years of marriage and have two children. This news immediately drew criticism from Korean netizens. The main vocalist of EXO is said to live as he pleases. On Wednesday August 16, 2023, SPOTV News reported that Chen and his wife were secretly preparing for their wedding which was postponed due to his wife's pregnancy and military service.
Furthermore, SPOTV News reported that EXO's Chen wedding party will be held privately in October. He only invited family, closest friends, and a number of fellow EXO personnel. Following the news that shocked fans, SM Entertainment issued an official statement and confirmed that EXO's Chen wedding will take place in the near future.
"Chen will be holding a wedding ceremony that has been postponed due to circumstances in October," SM Entertainment said in a statement. Now a number of Korean netizens are criticizing EXO's Chen decision to get married. The Cream Soda singer is considered to have lied to fans too much.
