One of the employees at Aewol Restaurant, located in Apgu-jeong, South Korea, has reportedly been fired from his job. After he was caught insulting NCT's Chenle and Kim Taei from the variety show 'Transit Love 2' on social media.

Quoting from Allkpop on Saturday September 2, 2023, NCT's Chenle and Taei from 'Transit Love 2' are known to have visited Aewol Restaurant on September 1, 2023.  Seeing the arrival of the two artists, one of the restaurant employees took a photo of the two without permission and uploaded it to social media.

Not only that, he also wrote unpleasant comments in his uploads.  "NCT's Chenle came here. Real time. First of all to sum up what I saw. Taei is really big. Why do I think this person is Taei = a great serial smoker," said the employee. He also wrote, "Taei 'Transit Love 2' I suspect it is him. NCT's Chenle, Chinky (jjangkkae)'."

Note: 'Jjangkkae' is the Korean equivalent of the word 'Chinky', a kind of racist word commonly used in various countries such as Japan, UK, USA, etc. Seeing an impolite post by a restaurant employee regarding Chenle and Taei made fans angry about this action.

Moreover, he insulted Chenle with racist words. Responding to this issue, the restaurant issued an apology statement to Chenle and Kim Taei. They also claimed to have fired the employee who made rude comments to the two of them.

"This is Aewol Restaurant, Apgu-jeong. We would like to sincerely apologize to Chenle, Taei and fans. An employee's mistake is our responsibility. His actions are unforgivable, and we have dismissed him," said the restaurant. They continued, "We also apologize to Chenle, and ask for his understanding. We truly apologize."

Fans who were angry at the actions of the employee at Aewol Restaurant, said that the action taken by the restaurant to fire the employee was the right thing. As a restaurant employee, it is not appropriate for them to comment on the appearance of customers who come, let alone upload it to social media. No exception, anyone must receive good treatment as a customer.
