On Monday September 18, 2023, one of the South Korean actors, Kim Min Jae, will officially undertake military service. This announcement was made directly by Nyam Nyam Entertainment as the agency that oversees the actors in the drama Dr. That's romantic. 

As reported by Naver, Kim Min Jae will undergo basic military training for several weeks before finally officially joining the military unit the actor is joining. “Kim Min Jae will enlist in the military on the 18th to fulfill his national defense duties. 

"We ask for your warm love and support until the day he returns from his military service in good health," wrote the agency quoted from Allkpop. Before the day he left for the military camp, Kim Min Jae also sent a letter to fans expressing his heart before his mandatory military service. 

In his letter, the actor expressed his sadness at having to leave his fans for a while. He also said he would be part of a military band once he completes basic training. Through this unit, Kim Min Jae will contribute to national defense through his musical talents.

"I will be joining the military band, and I feel very sad and disappointed at the thought of not being able to see you all for a while, but I also feel excited because I think I will be able to experience and learn more through my military service. I feel very grateful," wrote the actor.

Closing the letter, Kim Min Jae promised to return as a strong figure and will continue to repay the fans' love through the latest works that the actor will play once he finishes military service.  "I will not forget the valuable attention you have given me and will return as a stronger, richer person, and as actor Kim Min Jae who returns your love," concluded the man born in 1996.

Kim Min Jae's name became famous after he succeeded in playing roles in popular Korean dramas, such as Mr, Sunshine, Dali and Cocky Prince, Do You Like Brahms?, and Dr. Romantic. Recently Kim Min Jae appeared again in the Korean drama Bloodhounds which aired last June.
