Newcomer boy group RIIZE successfully held their first fan meeting in the first week of debut. Before appearing at MBC's Music Core event at Mulbit Culture Par in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, on September 9, 2023, RIIZE held a mini fan meeting to express their gratitude to fans directly.
That day, each member conveyed greetings and answered fans' questions. They also spent happy time taking group photos with fans amidst enthusiastic cheers. Even though the fan meeting was held early in the morning, more than 1200 fans gathered at the location to support RIIZE.
The members called fans by the official fanclub name BRIIZE and then responded to fans by waving their hands and making continuous eye contact, thus creating a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Apart from that, RIIZE and fans also held a surprise party for Sungchan, whose birthday is on September 13, 2023.
When Shotaro appeared carrying a cake, the other members and fans celebrated by singing Happy Birthday together. Sungchan made a wish and expressed his gratitude to RIIZE fans and members. Finally, RIIZE expressed their feelings regarding the large amount of support from fans.
“We were very surprised that more people came here than we expected. We sincerely appreciate your participation. Meeting you guys this close through a fan meeting helps us gain more strength. RIIZE is a boy group formed by SM Entertainment which consists of seven members, namely Shotaro, Sungchan, Eunseok, Seunghan, Wonbin, Sohee and Anton. They released the single "Get A Guitar" on September 4, 2023, refreshing the K-Pop world with their unique music genre.
The name RIIZE itself is taken from the words "Rise" and "Realize", which means growing together and realizing dreams as a team. Meanwhile, RIIZE plans to release new singles in November and December this year, and launch a new album which is scheduled for release in the first half of 2024. So can't wait, OK!
