Korean actor Choi Hyun Wook was caught in controversy after a viral video of him smoking in a car park. The Korean drama star Twenty Five Twenty One also threw away his cigarette butts carelessly. In a video that went viral on Thursday October 5, 2023, Choi Hyun Wook was seen casually smoking while leaning against a car.
The video was uploaded to the YouTube channel @user-mh9ji2hi8j with the title "Video of newcomer actor Choi Hyun Wook throwing away cigarette butts in the Apgujeong car park." Korean netizens became even more excited because Choi Hyun Wook smoked while holding the hand of the woman beside him.

Choi Hyun Wook also uploaded a handwritten letter to apologize to fans.
