The film 'Venom' returns to accompany Trans TV Cinema viewers. This film from Marvel comics will be broadcast on Sunday November 5, 2023, precisely at 21.30 WIB. This is Ruben Fleischer, the director behind this 2018 film. Previously, he had directed 'Gangster Squad' (2013), '30 Minutes or Less' (2011), and 'Zombieland' (2009).

The story of Venom begins with a journalist named Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) suspecting the government of avoiding a case. Eddie also investigates research conducted by the Life Foundations led by Dr Carlton Drake (Riza Ahmed), a clever but notorious scientist. Eddie bravely carried out the research even though his career was threatened.
Life Foundation is a company consisting of survivalists who build bunkers to face the day of destruction. Drake, the leader of the Life Foundation, believes that the Symbiote has the ability to evolve humans to survive the upcoming nuclear disaster. Eddie eventually learns that Dr. Carlton's company is conducting experiments on a dangerous organic called a symbiote.
This symbiote is a kind of black living organism that will stick to the human body it infests. He wanted to show the public the discovery of the symbiote, but the symbiote merged with Eddie's body. He then changed and gained tremendous power from the black organism.
The symbiote is named Venom. Venom makes Eddie emotionally unstable and always driven by anger and addiction. However, Eddie tries to control himself from this dangerous new ability. The release of the film 'Venom' coincides with the character's 30th anniversary in the Marvel family.
Taking production costs of up to US$ 100 million, 'Venom' managed to earn revenues of up to US$ 856 million, placing it at number 7 as the biggest-grossing film in 2018.
