STAYC has been confirmed to be making a comeback in the summer. The girl group made by High Up Entertainment will release a new album in early July, marking their entry into the "summer music battle". This domestic comeback marks their comeback after 11 months ago releasing their third mini album, 'TEENFRESH', in August last year.
"STAYC is working hard to prepare a new album ahead of their comeback in early July," said High Up Entertainment as quoted by Soompi on Monday May 20, 2024. They added, "It's been a long time since they last met domestic fans, they put a lot of effort into this album.
We ask for your anticipation and support for STAYC, who will return with a more mature and developed image." Considering their almost year-long break, STAYC has put in a lot of effort to create a very good album. With their summer comeback, the music industry is filled with anticipation for the fresh music that STAYC will bring.
Debuting in 2020 under the auspices of High Up Entertainment, STAYC is an acronym for Star to a Young Culture which means that the group's goal is to dominate pop culture. Consisting of six members, namely Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J, STAYC debuted with the release of the single 'Star to a Young Culture'.
Since then, STAYC rocked the K-pop industry by showcasing a fresh spectrum of music through hit songs such as 'ASAP', 'STEREOTYPE', 'RUN2U', 'BEAUTIFUL MONSTER', 'Teddy Bear', and 'Bubble'. Their music, which has a diversity of genres and styles, has attracted great attention both domestically and globally.
Following their rise as a girl group with worldwide popularity, STAYC embarked on their first world tour, 'TEENFRESH' last year. Starting in South Korea, this tour was also held in several countries, including the United States, England, France, Germany, Poland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. STAYC successfully completed their world concert tour in 15 cities last March, creating new history for them.
