Suzy and Park Bo Gum recently revealed about their chemistry in the latest Korean film ' Wonderland ', making fans even more impatient. 'Wonderland' tells the story of people who use the Wonderland service, which is a sophisticated technology service that allows users to reunite with dead people by utilizing AI or artificial intelligence technology.
Suzy plays Jung In, a woman who uses Wonderland's services to reconstruct her boyfriend, Tae Joo (Park Bo Gum), who was lying in a coma in bed after experiencing a tragic accident. Suzy will portray a character who has a crack in her heart and mixed emotions depicting happiness, confusion, and longing as she spends her daily life with her lover who has been reconstructed by AI.
Playing a couple, Suzy and Park Bo Gum also shared their experiences working together in the film. “Park Bo Gum is a hardworking actor who analyzes his dual roles thoroughly and portrays them carefully. "From reading the script, we shared a lot of conversations and concerns together, so I was able to participate in filming happily," said Suzy.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum will show his acting skills by portraying different sides of his character. Starting from the AI reconstructed version of Tae Joo designed through the Wonderland service to Tae Joo in real life who experienced confusion and felt strange after waking up from a coma.
“Suzy is exactly what I imagined Jung In to be like when I first read the script. I got a lot of help from him in playing the character Tae Joo.” Suzy and Park Bo Gum first met as co-MCs at the 2018 Baeksang Arts Awards and have worked together as MCs six times including this year's event.
