Korean film ' Following ' starring Byun Yo Han, Shin Hye Sun, and Lee El is off to a good start at the box office. Quoting from Soompi on Thursday June 6, 2024, the Korean Film Council announced that 'Following' had officially reached a total of 1,001,840 cinema goers the day before (June 5).

Carrying the mystery thriller genre, 'Following' was released on May 15 with a total duration of 105 minutes. This film tells the story of Koo Jung Tae (played by Byun Yo Han), a real estate agent who has a secret hobby, namely peeking at other people's private lives.

Koo Jung Tae uses his work and connections to go to his clients' homes to satisfy his secret hobby. Koo Jung Tae is attracted to a social media influencer named Han So Ra (played by Shin Hye Sun). One day, Han So Ra visited Koo Jung Tae's real estate office as a client and entrusted the man with the keys to her house.

Koo Jung Tae then sneaked quietly into Han So Ra's house. However, it turns out that someone saw Koo Jung Tae's actions in entering Han So Ra's house, then tried to take advantage of the situation.  Koo Jung Tae's intense curiosity towards So Ra takes an unexpected turn when the woman disappears.

Koo Jung Tae became the main suspect after someone revealed in a live broadcast that Han So Ra left her house keys with a real estate agent. Koo Jung Tae was then taken to the police station and interrogated by Detective Oh Young Joo (played by Lee El). Koo Jung Tae began to investigate personally for fear that he might be framed.

He scoured Han So Ra's social media accounts thoroughly, hoping to find any evidence about the case to clear her name. Apart from the interesting storyline, the high interest in this film cannot be separated from the stunning acting of Byun Yo Han, Shin Hye Sun, and Lee El which creates good synergy and chemistry. Congratulations to the cast and crew of 'Following' on their achievement!
