Together with Genos, his loyal cyborg apprentice, Saitama is ready to begin his duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association.

However, the presence of monsters is becoming more frequent, and Madam Shibabawa's predictions about disasters threatening Earth are increasingly becoming real. In the midst of this crisis, Garou appears, known as a hero hunter with his own motives and ambitions. One Punch Man originally started as a webcomic written by someone with the pen name ONE in 2009.

One Punch Man then appeared in a digital manga illustrated by Yusuke Murata, starting with publication on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012.
