Unpleasant news came from one of aespa's members, Karina. Karina was announced to be absent from their group's second concert titled ' SYNK : PARALLEL LINE' in Osaka, which will be held on Sunday July 28, 2024. This news was conveyed directly by the SM Entertainment agency through a post on aespa's official social media account.
Quoting from the X aespa social media account , the agency said that Karina could not continue the second day of aespa's concert at Asue Arena, Osaka, on Sunday, July 28, 2024 due to her declining health condition.
"aespa member Karina has been diagnosed by a doctor after practicing, and will not be able to perform at today's Osaka concert due to health issues," SM Entertainment said in its announcement. They added that with Karina's absence, only 3 aespa members will perform today at the Osaka concert, including Winter, Giselle, and Ningning.
"We apologize to everyone who has supported Karina and has been looking forward to her performance for a long time. We ask for your understanding and patience. Today's concert performance will take place with members Winter, Giselle, and Ningning," the agency added.
Meanwhile, aespa is currently busy with their second world tour concert schedule titled '2024 aespa Live Tour - SYNK: PARALLEL LINE' in Asia. They also have a busy performance schedule in several cities in Japan this month.
Including after the concert in Osaka on July 27 and 28, 2024, aespa will still visit Fukuoka on July 30 and 31, 2024. aespa will also continue their concert tour series until September in several other major cities in Asia. Including visiting Jakarta on August 24, 2024.
