AT AREA as HyunA's agency firmly denies rumors that the idol is pregnant. The statement came as a result of rumors of HyunA's pregnancy after she announced her wedding plans with her lover. AT AREA confirms that the circulating rumors are false and asks that such baseless speculations no longer spread widely.
"The rumors regarding HyunA's pregnancy are a mistake. We ask that these baseless speculations not spread further," said AT AREA, as reported by TV Report via Naver on Monday July 29, 2024. The pregnancy rumor surfaced when HyunA was in a relationship with Yong Jun-hyung.
The two confirmed the relationship publicly in early 2024. Speculation grew even more when they announced their wedding plans to be held in October 2024. The plan became the talk of the town because it was implemented less than a year after the two announced they were dating.
HyunA's agency later confirmed that the idol's wedding plans did not happen due to the pregnancy rumored by netizens. HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung's wedding plans were announced directly by their respective agencies. They will officially become husband and wife with a ceremony to be held on October 11, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea.
Each agency also asked for blessings and prayers from fans for the continuation of the marriage of the two idols. "HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung, who are now a source of comfort for each other during difficult times, have promised to get married," AT AREA said on Monday July 8, 2024.
"They will hold a wedding attended by close relatives in October and start a new life," the agency continued. Black Made, Yong Jun-hyung's agency, also made a similar statement, saying that the couple has deep affection for each other.
"Yong Jun-hyung and HyunA with deep love and trust for each other have decided to hold a wedding that will be attended by close relatives this October," wrote Black Made. "We greatly appreciate the warm attention and prayers for Yong Jun-hyung as he enters a new chapter in his life as a married couple (with HyunA)," he continued.
