Zhang Yixing or familiarly known by his stage name Lay Zhang, a member of the K-pop group EXO, previously planned a solo concert titled LAY ZHANG WORLD TOUR GRANDLINE 4 in Jakarta on June 29, 2024.
Unfortunately, the concert had to be cancelled for reasons that could not be announced to the public. Through the X account @XbackINA on July 30, 2024, Zhang Yixing's Indonesian fanbase announced special compensation regarding the cancellation of the concert in Jakarta, which was given by Lay Zhang himself.
As a form of appreciation and responsibility to fans who have purchased tickets for his concert in Jakarta, Lay Zhang is offering compensation covering hotel costs and plane tickets for fans from outside Jakarta. Here are the details of the compensation Lay provided:
1. Hotel Fees
Cancellation fees for local hotels in Jakarta should not be higher than RMB 500 (approximately Rp. 1,122,178) per night per room.
2. Domestic Airline Ticket Fee
Refunds for domestic air tickets do not exceed RMB 2,000 (approximately Rp. 4,488,712) per person.
3. International Airline Ticket Fee
Refunds for international air tickets do not exceed RMB 3,000 (approximately Rp. 6,733,068) per person.
To receive this compensation, fans who have purchased tickets are expected to follow the procedures that will be announced later. Previously, an official announcement from iMe, the promoter who brought the concert to Indonesia, also stated that refunds for concert tickets would be processed through the tiket.com platform by filling out an e-refund form sent via email.
Zhang Yixing's Indonesian fanbase has also made an announcement regarding the donations that have been collected for upcoming projects. They thank fans for their support and understanding during this situation.
Lay Zhang, who previously held a fan meeting and music listening party in Jakarta on December 5, 2023, hopes to return to Jakarta and hopes to return to Indonesia at another opportunity. With this compensation, it is hoped that fans can still feel loved and continue to support Lay Zhang despite this unexpected concert cancellation.
