Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's household is apparently on the brink. Previously, gossip about the rift between the two had been widely circulated. The singer, who is familiarly called J.Lo, reportedly filed for divorce from Ben on August 20, 2024.
According to TMZ, the legal documents state that J.Lo and Ben have been separated since April 26, 2024. The divorce suit was also filed by J.Lo directly without the help of a lawyer. Not only that, the document also states that J.Lo and Ben have a prenuptial agreement stating that the income and profits they both get during their marriage are joint property.
J.Lo herself chose to file for divorce from her husband after 2 years of marriage together. J.Lo and Ben were previously officially married on July 16, 2022. During their time as husband and wife, the two starred in many films, such as Air and Hypnotic, The Accountant 2, Shotgun Wedding, The Mother, This Is Me, and so on.
In her divorce documents, J.Lo also did not demand child support from Ben Affleck. The Waiting for Tonight singer even asked the judge not to burden Ben with the support obligations. Since they are no longer together, the two then chose to sell their house in Beverly Hills. Ben himself has bought a house for himself in Brentwood for around Rp 316.9 billion.
