SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan and Jun are reportedly going to be absent from SEVENTEEN's activities in the second half of 2024. Jeonghan is confirmed to be enlisting in the military soon and Jun will be making his acting debut in China.

Pledis Entertainment, the agency of boy group SEVENTEEN, recently announced plans for SEVENTEEN's activity schedule in the second half of 2024. Important things were also conveyed regarding the involvement of two members, Jeonghan and Jun, in the group's activities. The announcement was made considering Jeonghan will be starting his mandatory military service soon.

Meanwhile, Jun will focus on expanding his acting career, specifically in China, during the same period. Both of these things are expected to affect their participation in SEVENTEEN's upcoming activities, especially since the group is planning to hold a world tour titled SEVENTEEN Right Here World Tour starting next October 2024.

"Jeonghan is scheduled to fulfill his military service in the second half of 2024," Pledis Entertainment announced via Weverse on Monday, August 12, 2024. Although they have recorded most of the previously prepared content, Jeonghan will not be involved in promotions for SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album and world tour starting in October 2024.

However, the agency confirmed that Jeonghan will still be able to meet CARATs (SEVENTEEN's fandom) through previously announced fan signing events and his appearance at Lollapalooza Berlin. The date and details of his military service will be announced in a future announcement.

At the same time, Wen Junhui, or Jun as he is known, is reported to be pursuing an acting career and other opportunities in China during the second half of this year. Although Jun has also completed some content filming that could be prepared in advance, he is confirmed to not be involved in many of SEVENTEEN's upcoming activities.

"Due to overlapping filming schedules, Jun was unable to participate in Lollapalooza Berlin, music performances for his 12th mini album, and SEVENTEEN Right Here World Tour ," the agency explained. Although Jun will not be able to join the world tour, the agency assured that he will still try to participate in SEVENTEEN's activities involving CARATs as much as possible.

They also asked for fans' understanding and support for Jeonghan's smooth military service and the success of Jun's upcoming projects. "Please continue to show love and support for SEVENTEEN, and look forward to their upcoming activities this year," the agency concluded.
