'Officer Downe' is back on Trans TV Cinema. This action genre film will air on Saturday August 24, 2024, at exactly 23.00 WIB. As reported by CNN Indonesia, this film tells the story of a police officer who is ambitious to eradicate every crime, named Downe (Kim Coates). He is resurrected every time he dies while facing criminals.
A police officer named Terry Downe (Kim Coates) is known as a responsible and alert police officer in eradicating crime. One time, Downe was trying to catch a drug dealer nicknamed Headcase Harry (Corey Taylor). Unexpectedly, Harry blew up his own laboratory during the raid.
Downe died from the explosion. However, Downe's death was not the first time. Downe has been killed in action several times but was resurrected through an experimental program in collaboration between the police and scientists. They want to make Downe the perfect law enforcement hero.
Having no other life than being a police officer, Downe was deemed the ideal subject for this covert operation. He is always revived after being killed while fighting criminals. Waking up with little memory of his previous life, Downe is often confused when he first wakes up.
But one thing he remembers for sure, he is a police officer whose job is to eradicate crime and maintain peace in the city. In his mission, a four-man field team is assigned to monitor the super cop. One of them is Gable (Tyler Ross), a new member of the team who is still often confused about what is happening.
On the other hand, the Fortune 500 crime syndicate, consisting of bosses with animal faces such as lions, tigers, and vultures, finds out about the experimental project carried out on Downe. Realizing that Downe will continue to hinder their criminal activities, the gang wants Downe dead for good.
They start to make plans, even hiring a ninja assassin named Zen Master Flash to eliminate Downe. Officer Downe is an action-thriller film adapted from the comic book of the same name by Joe Casey and Chris Burnham. The film was directed by Shawn Crahan from a screenplay written by Joe Casey.
