The first girl group from THE BLACK LABEL agency finally revealed their name and launched an official social media account! On Friday August 16, 2024, THE BLACK LABEL announced the girl group’s name and social media accounts.
The group’s name is MEOVV, which is pronounced mee-ya-oh in Korean. They also shared the MEOVV logo via the X group's social media at @OFFICIAL_MEOVV. The logo is a black and white cat's paw with claw marks in the air.
On each claw there are earrings with the group name MEOVV and other cool accessories. The accessories on each claw also symbolize the number of MEOVV members, which is 5 people, according to the number of cat scratches.
On THE BLACK LABEL's social media account, they also uploaded a video showing a large cloth covering a building. When the cloth was opened, there were 5 black cats peeking from the top of THE BLACK LABEL building.
One of the cats comes down and jumps towards the camera, then squeals and displays the MEOVV logo. At the end of the 15-second video, there is also the sound of one of the members mentioning the name of their group. The girl group MEOVV, produced by Teddy, will debut around the second half of 2024.
