EXO's Baekhyun has set a record for album sales of over 1 million copies for the third time in a row. His latest album 'Hello, World', released on September 6, 2024, recorded cumulative sales of 1,006,717 copies as of September 10, 2024 on the Hanteo Chart.
The album sold over 1 million copies in just five days since its release. With this, Baekhyun has become a million seller for three consecutive times, following his 2nd mini album 'Delight', 3rd mini album 'Bambi', and 'Hello, World'. Baekhyun's record-breaking streak was predicted from the first day.
On the day of its release, the album recorded sales of 893,214 copies, surpassing his previous album's first-week sales record of 868,000 copies in less than a day. Considering that there are still two days left in the first week sales period for the 4th mini album, Baekhyun's own highest record is expected to continue to be broken.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun's 'Hello, World' contains a total of 6 Baekhyun-style R&B songs that blend various genres such as pop, hip-hop, and alternative, including the title track 'Pineapple Slice', 'Good Morning', 'Rendez-Vous', 'Cold Heart', 'Woo', and 'Truth Be Told'.
