South Korean Solo singer and actress, IU, today celebrated her 16th debut anniversary. To be exact on Wednesday September 18, 2024. Celebrating 16 years of her career, the owner of the real name Lee Ji Eun again made a donation to help others.
Quoted from Allkpop, EDAM Entertainment, the agency that manages IU, announced through their official statement that the idol has donated 225 million won to celebrate her debut day. IU specifically donated the funds under the name 'IUAENA' which is a combination of her name 'IU' and her fan club's name 'UAENA.'
The donations were distributed to several foundations. These include a foundation for children with rare diseases, the ' Milk Delivery Asking About Elderly' campaign program, Hansarang Village, and Hansarang Baby Orphanage. I am very happy to be able to carry out this meaningful activity under the name of IUAENA every year." She added, "I hope this small act can be a special gift for anyone who receives it. Thank you to UAENA who always instills love in my heart. Let's stay together for a long time."
