Kate Middleton has announced that she has completed chemotherapy after announcing her diagnosis with cancer in March 2024. The Princess of Wales expressed her relief after undergoing chemotherapy for nine months.

"As the summer draws to a close, I can't express how relieved I feel to have finally finished my chemotherapy treatment," Kate Middleton said on Instagram @princeandprincessofwales on Monday September 9, 2024.

Kate admitted that the last nine months have been a tough test for her family as she battles cancer. However, he has now been declared cancer-free and remains focused until he is 100 percent recovered because the process is longer than undergoing chemotherapy. 

"Doing whatever I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus," Kate Middleton continued. Kate announced the news in a short video uploaded showing her, William and their three children spending their summer holidays together. The British royal family looked happy, laughing at each other and hugging each other. 

Kate and William also expressed their gratitude for the prayers. Kate also expressed her support for other cancer survivors. "William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn immense strength from everyone who is helping us right now. The kindness, empathy and compassion of everyone has truly humbled me," she continued.

"To everyone who is continuing their own cancer journey, I am with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of the darkness, there will come light, and let that light shine brightly," said Kate Middleton. The mother of three announced her cancer diagnosis on March 22 local time. 

In a video she shared herself, Kate said she was in the early stages of cancer treatment after undergoing major abdominal surgery. Since then, Kate Middleton has been absent from the public eye to attend British royal family events. She has only made a few media appearances, one of the most recent being when she watched the Wimbledon final on July 14, 2024.
